«Field repair» of gas air oven «Intertnerm» series G7XA (made USA)
Suddenly, the gas air oven stopped working. Days of hard work trying to diagnose the problem. The main electronic boards and the built-in diagnostics with LEDs showed that the engine does not start after the gas is ignited, the flame goes out (automatic triggers).
As a result, the chain of events looked like this:
1. Insects clogged the condensate drain pipe when the oven is used for air conditioning in summer using an outdoor refrigerant evaporation unit.
2. The condensate drain tray of the internal evaporator has overflowed with water and water has entered under the main fan electronics cover (discharge 3,000 m/h air into distribution ducts).
3. The water has evaporated, but the 3-wire terminal block (motor winding control) has corroded on one of the 3 wires. For two years of work, oxides have done their job. 1 contact and part of the circuit board burned out completely.
4. I made a shunt by bypassing the burnt connector by soldering the wire to the leg of the power chip.
Voila! A miracle has happened, contact has been restored and the oven is working.
