I use brake and clutch cleaner, it takes a while but does work.Question guys ,
I've got almost everything needed to replace 15 inches if our Bailey caravan awning guide rail , the rail is sealed to the body with screws and very sticky white sealant mastic gunge that would hold an elephant down if it stood on it . Do any of you know what is normally used to dissolve such sticky mastic gunge ?
A stationary target?I'd sit down & not move from that spot for the rest of the day, if I were you.
Don't damage yourself mate!In trying to fix wifes beetle passenger door that will not open I snapped the end off one of my favorite ancient RS long thin flatblade screwdrivers
I then made the right tool out of a brazing rod to get through the cable aperture which worked, to find that the mech is toast and will not release the door
Clearing up I then stood on a 45 deg pick lying at just the right spot to go straight through my trainer and into my foot a fair way
Happy days grrr
