How did you straighten it then @Screwdriver
Aye. But I hate decorating. Leave that to someone else. Recon in 5 years il have to do the whole lot@eLuSiVeMiTe now you've made the rest of the window look bad
That from a transit that's had a solid flywheel conversion fitted?
RWD's are all solid flywheel IIRC, it's only the FWD's that have the DMF's fitted. That from a transit that's had a solid flywheel conversion fitted?
Have you tried the Laser brake pipe forming tool? works well on those tight bends.Brake pipe Thursday, hate doing brake pipes as they never look right, usually the long bits that go across the bulkhead and then down under but these short bits turned out OK.
These 2 had odd sized fittings (its all imperial) so had to reuse them, not something I like doing but needs must, the rest are all new

Thats new metal brake pipes from the master cylinder to the rear wheel cylinders, just waintin for the rear flexi to turn up, then start on the fronts
04 duratorq rwd twin wheel definitely has a dual mass. Made the mistake of fitting a solid and ruined itRWD's are all solid flywheel IIRC, it's only the FWD's that have the DMF's fitted.
When I replaced the long pipes on my Z3 I used the oldone as a pattern. Used tape to hold them together as each bend is formed. Came out looking factory....Brake pipe Thursday, hate doing brake pipes as they never look right, usually the long bits that go across the bulkhead and then down under but these short bits turned out OK.

Thanks for the tip re Microwave I would never have come up with that idea in a million years ..Yesterday was showing some MIS How to restore some donated tools.
This rebate planer did not have a blade when it arrived in my care.
Again it has worm, that was treated.
View attachment 308358
After the micro wave and liquid worm killer, the holes are filled with hard wax.
View attachment 308359
The access with be removed and used to finish the plane.

The wedge was dressed to give a straight edge, all fixings screws are cleaned and refitted lubricated with a soft wax.
A blade will be found and fitted.
I try to help the good people on here. Thanks for the tip re Microwave I would never have come up with that idea in a million years ..

As eLuSiVeMiTe says, RWD have always been dual mass since 2000. Some FWD were solid, but I'm not entirely sure where they changed from solid to dual mass.RWD's are all solid flywheel IIRC, it's only the FWD's that have the DMF's fitted.
The conversion kits worked OK in lower horse power engines, albeit with a noticeable increase in NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness). That noticeable, that you can tell as soon as you let the engine labour, by the fact any loose fillings will fall out!04 duratorq rwd twin wheel definitely has a dual mass. Made the mistake of fitting a solid and ruined it

@8ob were they trying to pull a tree stump out with it?
