Holes.
These are for the youngest daughters ensuite that I'm building. There's a 200mm overlap with the plant room roof and her bedroom in that corner. The plant room has all services required it's a neat solution, but the wall is really thick, 750mm thick. It's double skinned millstone grit with a rubble fill. Fortunately I hit a through stone for the top 3 holes. I hate it when rubble falls behind the bit and you can't get the damn thing out to remove the core.
If your wondering why five holes, it's hot, cold, soil, waste water and the last one is condense output from the heat recovery ventilation system in the loft.
I got lucky and managed not to cross any of the holes, there's not much room for error. They've now all got plastic sleeves in them. Just got to chase out for the shaving socket (no, my daughter doesn't shave
) and the heated towel rail, then I can get the new partitions skimmed.

Have you got the controls sorted? I have some pid controllers that I’ve acquired from work that might suit - but they have an analogue output rather than a logic output so not sure if they would suit whatever thyristor/power controller you are using…

Today I made a couple of things.
First was some new bushes for the stand I got the last day. When I dropped the AT off the stand I would have to give the stand a tap up with my foot to fully retract it. At first I thought the spacer was just fractionally too short making it tight but it turns out it was just too tight on the OD and as you tightened the bolt up it went slightly out of alignment and made it stiff. Whether it is the stand or the mounts on the frame that are slightly out of alignment I don't know. Anyway I made up a new bush that was 0.2mm less on the diameter and now it works as it should.
I also made a sliding gadget up so that I can align the wheel after tensioning the chain.
First tension the chain correctly on the left side and place the gadget into the pivot and wheel spindles then lock at the length then place it on the right side and adjust the wheel until the gadget slips in and that is then perfect alignment

Yesterday I managed a couple of hours in the garage sorting some of the " really good things " that are building up and need to good
I also made a fly lead for the transtig
I took a chance on a amphenol 2pin plug and socket on evilbay for £8 and it was spot on, fitted perfectly so I've now a spare plug and socket. Paired up with GX16 plug so I can use any torch I've got easily . Now need to finish the trolley and get it up and running .

I broke a rearset a few years ago when I had a minor crash, decided I would have a go at making a new plate to get them useable again. They allow a better riding position than standard. Need to finish cleaning it up and make one for the other side so it matches.

Really interested in this as I have thought (nothing more ) of installing something in the workshop, to act as an extraction system and heat recovery. Problem is filtration. Thought various filter methods to stop heatex blocking up. Working in cryogenics for 30yrs the whole process is based and them.

By "better riding position" do you mean lower and forward so you can actually get comfortable?
(I bought a sports bike once, a gsxr600, and hated it! Gave me cramps within 5 mins of riding!)

Oddly for me better riding position is further back and lower for road, and back and higher for track otherwise footrests hit the floor. I do have stupidly long legs though, hence needing to go back to increase leg room.By "better riding position" do you mean lower and forward so you can actually get comfortable?

Do fancy a more upright bike though, starting to hurt doing long days on the RSV now.

on my old man style bikes the pegs are always lower so I feel like a boss if i ever get low enough to scrape them 
I need to get buying a fresh bike for commuting. Key criteria is cheap, practical and economical... thinking a honda NC750 or ER6, nothing exciting or even remotely interesting.
