Good evening gents.
Hood even in Tasmania, where the water is cool down to 12c and or lower there is growth. Less growth with props in daily use, but there is still growth. Here where I am water temp in summer off the coast can get to 26.4c in the 'Tasman Front' current, however in the harbour it will be 22.5c abouts in summer. Where this stuff makes the difference is when the vessel is not being used much. Marine growth grows, but the low adheasion coefficient of the clear silicon coat, things just get flung off when the props are turned.

Made this to put on to my engine crane to lift a beam into place in my garage, beam weighs about 200kgs.
Going to get the ends of the beam set then put packers under the floor joists (if needed) and frame and board over the beam and take the Acrow props down at which point I hope the upper floor stays there!

Still making tool holders, these are kinda fun to make, make them entirely on the bandsaw:
The caliper on the right is my favorite, a 2nd hand mitutoyo, the other one is cheap one from the local big box store, feels like grits and stone in comparison, but both seem accurate. I have a digital but i never use it once the battery failed. I prefer verniers that are bomb proof and battery-less.

Sweet! Rogue don’t do themselves any favours by putting the measurements of all their kit on their website..

Yes, a few pieces. That's what got me into welding. I use Rogue equipment and measurements as a starting point for a design. I go through their feedback comments and see if there are any constructive criticisms.
So far I've made:
Power rack
Bench
Dip Bars
Thick handled triangle.
Sled
J Hooks
Strap Safety System
A horizontal plate storage rack is on the cards next.
Probably some others that I've forgotten about. My welding is shocking, but nothing has fallen apart yet.
Hah I’d be a little worried about using a power rack made by someone with shocking welding!!
Fair play though, the cost of some seemly simple bits of gym equipment can be astronomical! Have you a pick of the sled? Have wanted one for a while. Also what’s a strap safety system? Is that the
Material safety bars that rogue use on some of their racks?

This is the safety strap. The lifting slings I bought off ebay for about £15. The pin and swing brackets were made from 5mm plate. A couple of nuts and bolts to hold it all together. Less than £40
I don't have a pic of the sled, and I don't use it TBH - not much room to pull it where I am. I based it on this one
I used this plastic for the runners. I'm sure it's the same type as Rogue use.

Rain stopped play, so was mooching round the house.
Found some empty concentrated scent bottles from Mini Me soap making.
Made coffee.
Found some glitter.
Drank coffee.
Found out the plastic bungs in scent bottles had gone brittle.
Made coffee.
Found a wine cork.

Then this happened.

I was a bit apprehensive about lifting it!. The beam was initially placed on its side before it was securely clamped to the engine crane, as it was raised it came into the correct position and it was just a case of moving the engine crane to get it into position above the support walls. It all went pretty smoothly thankfully and saved the cost of hire of a beam lifter.

Good morning gents, not just today but over the last three days. Started out with this

And yes there was welding involved. Some cracks in the chassis had to be repaired as well as rush holes. Tomorrow will be whip the welded patches and any bits missed, then paint with epoxy. Hopefully all goes well tomorrow
