There is but you are going to need longer arms to reach into your deep pockets. (as a Yorkshire man I am allowed to say that to a Scot )I've got 'welding table envy' - and I don't think there's a cure.

Good morning gents. Today whip blasted the bin and painted it with Jotun Jotamastic 90. I can tell you i am over blasting this thing, all the little nooks and cranies
Early tomorrow morning will start with the urethane paint, hopefully that goes OK with out wind which is forecast
.
You can see already a fly which decided to land on the fresh paint, got bogged and slowly oozed it's way down the top side till the paint hardened. Urethane is much better smelling so god knows what I will have in store

Yesterday I was at a funeral, the small talk turned to what 'er indoors and me are doing with our retirement.....
She announced 'oh I'm doing some part time lecturing at the Uni ...'

I "made" some huge circlip pliers:
It's some cheap pliers I don't use (Was in the bottom of my "duplicates" toolbox
), annealed, drilled just undersized and a piece of 3mm allen key pressed in. Worked perfectly.

Did similar except mine was rough as boars s..., I just welded bits of an allen key to the jaws

Nothing special but it came out nice, bulkhead stand-off mount for a car heater valve. Brushed 304 stainless steel, all holes punched with a Witney Roper hand punch but the M5 Rivnuts had to be opened out to 9/32” on the pillar drill as that material is tough on the hand punch. Supplied valve plate is tosh, might remake it in 304! I dare say the plastic arm will need a metal replacement too.
