I've been avoiding anodising after a few failures. I had a plan to work round that and another go yesterday.

Im doing the front panel of the melter control box now.. waiting for epoxy to cure (heating on hob) then thats going in this afternoon.
The above are using epoxy protected, tig welded connection wires - bit of a pain! Todays attempt Im using a stainless bolt/nut to secure it. Stainless is bad, but Im hoping the epoxy will protect it. If any stainless is exposed, it will get eaten before the aluminium does anything.
I did hgv chassis conversions for quite a few years and always hated fitting mudwings as they are easy to make look poo.Today. Fitted one side of the mudguards. Got a little fettling to do then remove for paint. A proper ass job to fit.

Expecting some Visitors from The East?
Yer they are a right toss of a job. These set had been rolled slightly out of alignment so that made things a little harder to get right.I did hgv chassis conversions for quite a few years and always hated fitting mudwings as they are easy to make look poo.

Melter control box, sprayed the back case and anodised the front, quick test assembly.. cosmetically done.
