It was quite "powerful" until the butter was added which helped massively in softening the flavour.At least you won't have any vampires coming round now

Sounds just like my dads Jack Russell, mum couldn’t control him. The last time he escaped my mum walked several miles trying to get him back before catching him near my sisters so she went to her house to get a lift back , my sister said no way should mum have to go through that again so the dog was taken to Wood Green animal shelter. A few weeks later my mum saw the dog in a 4x4 belonging to a farmer who had adopted him , on talking to the farmer she was told he was as good as gold , obedient and well behaved.

Look up preserving Garlic lest you give yourself botulism . Cornell university college extension preserving foods is a sound place to go and research as they advise the USA's FDA people about such sciences that have all been tested to the N th degree.
I do a lot of pressure canning and preserving IIRC it's one of the very few things that you're not recommended to preserve in any form unless you are a chemist and know exactly how much Sulphur originated preservative & other commercially used approved preservatives to use. You cannot home preserve it in the fridge in olive oil or anything else seems to also come to mind .

God only knows what farmer LlLarmer put on his fields near to us late on yesterday .. it smelt like greasy lanolin in which he'd been boiling half rotten cabbages . perhaps a slurry tank from m the cattle into which some dead sheep & dags had be put during just before lambing.
It started stinking at about 16.30 hrs and was still reeking the bungalow out this morning at 05.30 hrs

Best JR I ever knew was a town pooch that took to farm life like a native. In the town he'd been a right little basket, but given room and the freedom to wander about he turned into a pleasant little animal. Might also have been something to do with all the rabbits he collared. Pleased as Punch most of the time.

Nr20 torch, there was no other way to get 16mm² cable and 3 hoses all fitting inside the handle, I silver brazed the cable to adaptor. Copper lumps as a heatsink to protect the rubber.
Short dip in hot citric and filed it smooth before fitting.
I'll try it with foot switch before I add a button/current adjustment. I think its going to need a new 3d printed nylon handle to get a button/adjuster to fit.
Preparing a Hobgoblin to be an anodising test peice. Plan to lower the can into dye at 1cm/minute to get a reference of the different shades.

I've wasted some tig rods and solder paste. 
It's a mock up of a spice rack, the plan was to make up two "sheets" like this, have them upright with some more rods to space them apart and the jars would fit in the hexagonal slots, probably with a third grid behind it to keep them falling out of the back.
This mockup has proven its a crap design. A square grid would give about 15 percent denser packing of the jars and would be much easier to make, I thought the hexagonal arrangement would look cool but now I've got it in front of me, I'm not that keen anyway.
If anyone's got any good ideas for spice storage I want to hear them. The main requirement is it has to be dense, I've got 53 jars (And counting) and a tiny kitchen.
