Now I'm no expert, in fact I'm very much in the learning stage for Tig. I can't even tell if that's stainless or aluminium.Beer/Wine ice bucket for my mrs Company.
Some sort of issue causing soot. Hard to say whether it was the scotchbrite (although I cleaned with acetone) or a gas issue. Either way I need to check connections and lines. I've got a feeling I may have a hole somewhere in the torch cable.
Probably would of looked better if I glued the letters on but didn't have anything suitable.

Brad, is there any reason you could not have drawn around the letters and drilled 3 small holes from the front, inside the lines of each letter, then plug welded from the back?
