That is actually what I have a a ground anchor for the bike, welded through a 10mm sheet of steel.

How long before they nick the ground anchor and leave the bike ? With the cost of materials going the way they are I recon about a year or so.

The brick was starting to wear through her leather one.

A mitred-dovetail box with a Izutsu-tsunagi Kumiko lid, all made with hand tools (except for a bit of resawing with a bandsaw). Body is ash with a (not visible in the photo) American black walnut lining and base; lid is American black walnut with maple Kumiko.

I must have been in the wrong aisle at Lidl's when I was hunting for a plasma cutter . I think with a lot more practice I might get to be that bad.
