Quite true!!!Your bettern half said you get sent there.
Super thin sandal wood linings would be brilliant in such boxes .. they'd smell truly amazing& spicy .a joiner mate knocks me up ply boxes and I clad them in old brass sheetView attachment 384507
I'm sure you'll get a rise out of that.I made this earlier in the week.

I don't actually need the bars raised as such, I just need them slightly closer to me so raising them will allow me to rotate them a bit. The bars are about 950mm wide and the steering has an excellent lock on it so when at full lock I am just slightly stretched, this will cure that.I'm sure you'll get a rise out of that.
Last time I was on the m'way I realised I needed another inch. Left shoulder was getting a bit sore, but around locally I never realised it.
Buy a decent car the steering columns are usually adjustable for height and length plus the cars don't fall over too often & more oft than not they keep you warm and dry.I don't actually need the bars raised as such, I just need them slightly closer to me so raising them will allow me to rotate them a bit. And fitted
Better than the AS3P ones I bought to trial out the concept, at least mine are the right shapeTop clamps are a different colour tho, re- anodise them to match
F KnowsGreat work, respect!
I can't even imagine a German TÜV inspector walking around the part and saying half in despair, half outraged "... but, but, where is the approval stamp on the part, the test number of the Federal Institute for Materials Testing? What do you mean: milled by yourself? Then anyone could do it - but it doesn't work like that! Where would we end up if everyone just ...? ..."
We, who know how it works, naturally keep our mouths shut and don't even tell him - there are now far too many models and variants and ....
- but when I started, it could happen that a very good inspector would recognise even a well-made part ... there was simply much less choice.
How do you have to proceed over there?
Carsten

Great job, were all the cables and wiring long enough to suit the extra height? And fitted and not a steering wheel in sight, well one in shot to the side
