Are you sure you want to sell the 400 ?Today I made a start on a clean up of the new ( to me ) Husqvarna 770 . Bit of a partial strip down

I was pleasantly surprised how clean it was under the important covers

Had a bit of trouble removing the blade bushing , it appeared to be pressed on rather than just a snug fit but it did look after market .
Anyway ordered a genuine service kit for it so the rest will be another day

while I was on gave the old 400 a blow of and fresh fuel , went third pull after 18 mnts stood so that's ready for FB market place .
I've had my moneys worth out of it and I'm happy for some one else to fettle it up , besides unless I buy the latest stihl i'm not gonna get 125 mm depth of cut or be able to cross the disc to the outside . I don't mind paying more for genuine parts if it keeps a machine in good order .Are you sure you want to sell the 400 ?
It's way cheaper than the husky to repair
The top end for it is like 30 euros Vs 80+ for the husky
Not at all both because people tend to watch the entire video, doesn't scare them from clicking and it gets more views, unfortunately it takes more views to make watched hoursShort and concise is no bad thing.
Could it be made as a two part tool with a male and female dies , one with a female thread so the parts could use a bolt through them and the sheet steel to form the dimple? A bit like the tool for reforming car door lock holes?I started to make a tool for my fly press today. I make replacement floor sections, and there's a pressing I can't do with any of the tools I've got. It's a "dimple" for a grommet which I think is for draining paint in the production line, but it's about 75mm diameter and 6mm deep, but only about 3/4 of the shape because there are two ribs that run into it. I got some bits of plate that I saved from the scrap pile when the forge was having a clear-out and started to draw out where I'd need to create a suitable hole, and figured that I can build up several layers to get the depth - 6mm finished, so I figured it would need to be a bit deeper to overcome springiness. I've got some 1" bar that I got from a poster on here, specifically for this sort of job, and was thinking about how to make something around 60mm to weld to it, so as to press the dimple.
Then I measured the distance from the back of the panel, and compared it to the throat depth of my fly press, and it won't work because it's too small. I'm glad I didn't start cutting, or worse, draw it all out and then spend money having it cut out properly. I may well revisit it if I think I can get a decent enough finish just by hitting the two pieces together, but I suspect that will require hardening that the fly press tool probably wouldn't have needed.
