8ob good morning. Just curious how you set the 100 by 100 by 3mm (vertical) posts and are the horizontals welded. have to build a new front fence at my place when time permits. They also looked gal?

About 800mm in the ground with a barrow full of concrete in each
I find it easier than working with wood Henry, posts concreted in and rails welded to the fronts. With a fistful of clamps and a few tacks its very easy to get everything in position/lined up prior to concrete and welding.

Often wonder about the merits of paint. I have unpainted 100x100 box beams on sheds which I concreted in the ground that are north of 30 years old, that layer of oxide seems a lot tougher and is more maintenance free than any paint I have seen. I will be a long time buried before these fence post rot away and they will certainly have a far longer lifespan than wood.

Sadly not. To be in with a chance of a Darwin Award you need to be dead.
That is still converting O2 into CO2 and a drain on the limited resources of the NHS
