Where does the maths come in to dividing 7 cyls into 360 degrees?
Things don't have to be round numbers, they can be decimals/fractions and still work in. Lets face it even with something that works out to a round number such as 3 would be 120 degrees. How accurately can you get the 120 degrees? I would say just as accurately as you could get the 51.4285714286 degrees of a 7 cylinder radial.I can understand 9 into 360 every 40 degrees but not 7
I think that is just over a bahair which is pretty good according to the boatyard guys up hereOr as it's known in some shops,
"That'll do"

It's because of firing orders, even numbers are not practical with radial engines. Good explainings here http://okigihan.blogspot.com/p/firingorder-firing-order-of-engine-is.htmlI can understand 9 into 360 every 40 degrees but not 7

I made pizza. Couldn't decide what I wanted so I made two, SD tomato, pesto and mozzarella on the left, various Italian cured meats on the right. A drizzle of oil before it goes in the oven and a few leaves of fresh basil once it comes out. Dough made with this excellent recipe:
