Been busy watching my 3D printer printing out a non spill oil brush pot for my lathe.

I also printed out a little 1-12 scale car battery for a miniature workshop/shed I’m frittering free time on building. That’s the wee black square thing on the left.

Stick a magnet to the bottom of the oil pot.

I hope the printed plastic is not soluble in cutting oil or it wont be spill proof for long.

I’ve used pla, so should be ok for the oil I use. Have to admit, I did a quick google before I started printing.

Decided to have a bit of tig brazing practice. Made myself a torch holder. It clamps onto the side of my welding "trolley" so I can put it wherever is convenient. It's intended only for holding the torch(es) while I'm actually doing a job - for convenience - rather than permanent storage.

And I also (not today) made this little thing, which has proved itself very useful.

The little thing? I guess it could loosely be called a machinists jack. Basically a bit of 30mm round bar with a threaded hole down the middle and a thumbscrew in each end.
