Bit of cutting and welding should keep it going a bit longer.

Nice work Wyn did you cut circlip groves in the refabbed yolk or just spot weld the UJ cups in place ?

Nws pilers?Bolted my soft jaws in place.
Nws pilers?
I use knipex but a friend of mine use nws and are great
great drill bits i love themTried a new to me drill today, so good on tubes without wandering. Less burrs on the inside too.
Will buy more of these.
Used a similar type a long time ago for sheet metal. They were great for larger diameters to avoid the typical triangular shape so I assume this one will do well too.
As good as new after 40 holes

For the last near thirty years (scary) Ive been meaning to make some copper soft jaws with vees machined in to grip rounds like hydraulic ram rodsBolted my soft jaws in place.
Own one of my record no 6 for 5 years before I realised it had Ali jaws. Only realised when I put a wire wheel over itFor the last near thirty years (scary) Ive been meaning to make some copper soft jaws with vees machined in to grip rounds like hydraulic ram rods
