I was suffering regular bouts of kidney stones, probably 2 or 3 times a year for 3 years. The NHS couldn't do anything & couldn't find a reason for them forming. I was admitted to hospital twice in agony, all they could do is feed me morphine & wait for the 6mm stone to come out!

I heard about the quebra pedra online & tried it out.
I took the capsule form at full dose for around 6 months until I thought I was clear of stones, then cut down to one a day for 6 months.
I was also taking a mug of the tea daily, its a nice alternative to normal tea.
Probably a year or so later I felt the familiar pain in my side so I started taking the capsules & tea again. This time I passed no stones at all, the quebra pedra must have dissolved them in my kidneys! I continued taking the capsules for 3 months at full dose & 3 months at 1 per day.

That was probably 10 years ago & thankfully I have been stone free since. On one occasion I had some kidney pain so I took some capsules for a few weeks just in case.

Medics said that tea makes produce stones because high calcium oxalate content.
Essentially every thing makes produce stones ,we should eat and drink everything to balance the various substances ,also urines must have a specific pH (not acid not alcaline) .
No Sea fruits , particular fishes ,no crayfish and shrimp ,etc
No cheese ,no milk,no salt
And it's not ended here because whatever thing you by you should read what's in the recipe because it's possible to find ingredients you not even think to find in them.

Yesterday here a man being killed by 12G buckshot fired at 170 meters distance while boar hunting

Another guy this morning shot itself with his shotgun while jumping an obstacle , same spot the arm ,if was using buckshot his arm could be cut off

The French and Italians are mental where firearm safety is concerned. There’s usually 10-15 people killed or badly injured while hunting . A couple of yrs ago, a guy in an Italian wild boar shooting party shot another member, he got up and shot the other guy dead.

Anyway about the accident happened here few days ago ,I think that probably they said buckshot but was probably an homemade round using big steel balls from bearings .

Yeap. The guy who got wounded, got up and shot his mate dead. You couldn't make it up.

That's sad to ear
I was reading now ballistics charts about buckshots and they seem to be not letal over 50 meters range on 100kg targets unless hitting critical spots like head heart etc
This pour guy being hit at femoral artery and he bleed until death
170m is the distance they said ,I think that who shot was closer because unless unluckily fatality is practically impossible hit a target at this range in the woods with trees and other obstacles using a shotgun and buckshots .
I thought that the shooter was intended to kill him .

I didn't use this stuff, but after suffering the pain of kidney stones for a few years, and following docs advice to drink more and reduce dairy, they stopped altogether Great I thought, no more pain and morphine! Unfortunately, a couple of years ago I got the odd water/kidney infection and a scan revealed a bladder stone - almost the size of a golf ball!! Suffice to say, I did/could not pass this Ended up having a day op to remove it

Sometimes you're just in the at the wrong place at the wrong time.
As guy accidentally discharged one shot with an M240. Lands a head shot at 3000 meters on a moving target killed him instantly. They said if the poor guy had his side window closed he would have survived.

That’s a nice bit of knurling - deep and crisp and even! And with the chamfer each side

I’ve seen people use evaporust to free off seized vices so I’m trying it out on the 5 stuck pistons in my Daimler block. The sand filled cans are there so I don’t have to use so much fluid as I do t know if it’ll free off too much and run out the bottom.

1/4" whitworth tripod screws?

Not even close I'm afraid (although 1/4" whitworth isn't that far off M6 so you did get the scale about right).

That’s a nice bit of knurling - deep and crisp and even! And with the chamfer each side

Knurling was all done in one go (on a long bit of 20 mm brass bar) with a gentle air breeze over the top to blow the swarf away. Chamfer was just done with a file (to save tool changing).
