Tell me about it, I had five new holders for my little Dixon tool post delivered on Tuesday, spent a while populating them and setting aproximate tool heights and by Thursday I was back to changing tooling around and thinking 'I need to order more tool holders'

Not only fords can do that - in this case on the e39 it was the rubber bush which perished and only dropped like this when hoisted on a lift to investigate a knocking from the front.....
You would have thought Fords would have made a stiffer bonnet.

O yes they did (pantomime) believed they used their door parts on range rovers etc.I had 7 of them! They were the staple of my dad’s company fleet, I used to buy them, run them for a month or two and move them on for a modest profit, I don’t think they deserved all of the bad press they got

Just moved around. I could of set them up on the Positioner but I would of had to make a dowel to bolt to the centre (I haven’t got a chuck) and there was only 10 to do so 20 welds. Took about two hours to preheat them, tack them and weld them.
It’s 6 or 8mm Aluminium I can’t remember now. The edge quality and dimensional accuracy is amazing.That looks pretty thick material [well, to me], what's the cutting capacity of these waterjet machines?
