Didn't Triumph and Hillman use these back in the 60's and 70's?

Istr there was a real difference in life expectancy between OEM makes of the same doughnut.
Also, iirc, some Lotus owners fitted the much cheaper Hillman doughnuts and found it wasn't worthwhile trying to save the few quid.
However, there WAS a readily available cheaper doughnut that lasted well, but it's probably long gone by now.
I'd not be surprised if the only ones available now are either crab or over-priced, with the economies of scale gone way down.

Spotted the gantry crane, very nice. I am determined to have one in my next place. Good build too, loads of insulation and you will hardly need any heat, just background. You have been lucky with the timing as the weather has been good. Snowing here at the moment.......

Yes the weather has been good. Although it’s been cold an snowed a couple times while I was working the other day. Nothing too bad.

Generally. Within 1m from the boundary you have to keep it bellow 2.5m. Also 15sqm or less you don’t have to abide by building regs but 15-30sqm you have to abide by building regs. No inspection needed just need to abide by it. That seems the general rule of thumb.

If I remember right, the top arm of the rear suspension on the later Elite was the drive shaft!
The Hardy Spicers didn’t last long but when they were in good shape the cars handled amazingly well.

Some Jaguars use the same system
