Not much to say, just some (hand) planed planks to have a go at an exercise that was apparently part of an O-Level in woodwork (redrawn in enlightened units). I thought I'd try it out tomorrow (despite never having even tried cutting two out of the three joints before). I prepared two of each of the sizes of wood that would have been provided so that if I mess it up & can have another go!

I always like to see wide soffits as it keeps the weather off the walls...that's a great job there, well doneTwo weeks work for me to get to this point but I have just finished my cladding on my new garage doors to make and then all the inside to finish off.

As do I. I'm quite pleased with it. I was nervous about how to do the roof but I'm glad it came out as well as it has. It has a 50mm- nothing over 3.7mI always like to see wide soffits as it keeps the weather off the walls...that's a great job there, well done
