When i next think about it i will post some good books and a joint ive used but haven't seen anywhere but one place. Its brilliant for beams

I found a hss tool blank and carbide insert make good scrapers for cutting runs, drips and the high spots of bad orange peel. Got it sanded smooth after.

When you're sitting up there 4or 5 hours you need it

Today I made a puller to get the spider off the clutch housing on my Alfa so I could replace the clutch shaft bearings.
Simple job, turned a point on a M20 bolt and welded a nut to a bit of scrap steel.





Worked a treat.





Alfa certainly liked to do things differently in the 70s and 80s, but at least they used standard bearings so they are cheap to replace .

It's hard to get good ghost help these days. They seem to lack spirit, and they're always moaning about something or sneaking away through the wall to visit their mates in the cemetery across the road when my back is turned. And there's all that ectoplasm that they leave lying around...I get tired of cleaning up after them.
