I much prefer resin in fixings, if they need to be removable just use female anchors rather than studs, then the hole can either be bunged with a big grub screw or just silicone tye stuff. Never had one fail yet if done right. I gave up on other fixings after a broken stone gate stoop due to through bolts, it went a week after I fit the gate, ended up sticking back together with resin in the end.
I still use through bolts in concrete floors and filled block walls, I usually drill the hole deep enough that if I want it removed I can knock the fixing into the hole and cover over.
