Nice knob mate....
What is it, and are you replacing the hoses because of the paint?
It's a tilt slide truck body, The hoses are being replaced because they are old and perished and the fittings are crusty, I want it as reliable as possible so im going though it bit by bit. What is it, and are you replacing the hoses because of the paint?
Finished handrailing this yesterday, ready to deliver.

Pretty much, yeah I'm quite fortunate because I have one decent size business customer that puts stuff my way, nice size jobs that I can handle within reasonable timescales and material free-issue.What's ypur setup? You are employed and have this workshop as a side gig?
I used to do that with an 18” length of gas pipe, a Britool pry bar, and a pair of mole grips. When I tow my caravan or a trailer have find it impossible to check the brake lights are working with out the help of another person.
I had a bit of spare time today so I made a gadget to press and hold the brake pedal so I can check the lights on my own.

A quick test its still not as sharp as it should be.
Do you know that they cannot be seen ,if positioned this way?I had a go at making Roman numerals for my clock today. I will paint them but I need to add fixings on the back first.
I cut the 3/16" rod after working out the sizes on paper. I am quite pleased but I know they are not brilliant

Mug for scale, they scale nicely with the clock. I will show the whole thing once it is complete.

I don't understand your question? I can see them when on the clock, I have just mimicked a commercial design.Do you know that they cannot be seen ,if positioned this way?
They should put like on a normal clockI don't understand your question? I can see them when on the clock, I have just mimicked a commercial design.
Ah I see, they are just on the table awaiting finishing I am waiting until it's finished before posting a picture of the whole thing. Cheers for the comment. They should put like on a normal clock
12 XII its not put upside down
6 VI Is put upside down
3 III Is put on a side as well as the 9 IX
On a normal clock you don't read 9 where there's the 6 , and you don't see 9 and 3 tilted on a side
It's not a critic just an honest opinion ,it makes the clock little bit strange to read and not historical-popular correct .
A quick test its still not as sharp as it should be.
