Cant really claim to have made.. as @Fraserb did most of the work... i only drilled, tapped and fitted 4mm studs to yhe back of them and epoxyed them to the holes in the wall
Spaced off the wall about 1/2"

No... started with my smallest masonry bit.. maybe 2mm, then opened up to 5mm gradually.... was hard finding a wide enough bit on the letters to match where there was brick on the wall

About 40 years ago I was painting a hull on a 1930s pleasure cruiser for a few quid in the back pocket from the owner.
Inside the wheelhouse was a Dunkirk 1940 plaque.
Fair took me by surprise, as the owner hadn't cracked a light about it.

So what to say
"Since your car has different things to repair, you can use mine without problems"
Used it to take it for safety controls (the thing you do to check brakes ,lights, emissions test ecc ).
It's been funny.
Car drifted out of the Dyno while braking .
Coming back home gears wouldn't work properly.
It doesn't rev up with gear ingaged .
If you press the throttle it will start bogging and then when you press the clutch it will finally rev up spitting fire from the exhaust in some big black clouds
It will shake everyone will get into it
My friend and his girlfriend came with me to the driving school for an information.
Once back they both vomited , and they are used to drift with me

I had been planning on building a plasma table into my welding table, but it ended up as a wisgontae project. Even more so with the concept of spending silly money to buy metal sheet to use on it. Thing is, I decided I really wanted to finish it today.

Answer…

I had dismantled a tumble drier I last used well over two years ago. Well, it didn’t owe me anything, so I repurposed the sheet casing. I had also took apart a metal fold up table I had made but never really used, so repurposed that too.

Results, a welding table with a lift up lid, to reveal a plasma cutting table. All contained in a metal covered frame (including floor), to stop the sparkly stuff flying around the place. Maybe a bit rough, but if/when prices are sensible, I can replace the panels, and I’m sure I’ll make a nice enough mess of the plasma table top to not make the bodges noticable.

I shall use it in anger tomorrow.

Took the drip bead former and sides off of my pier cap mould. Looks like it has potential. Clearly a few air bubbles got trapped but thinking maybe I can fill them with something? Gave the top a quick going over with a piece of broken Celcon then hoovered the top and the drip channels. I'll let it set for a couple of days then invert onto a pallet and see what the top side has come out like. Where I siliconed the internal corners and ran the Fugi Cramer tool along seems to have worked and given me rounded edges.

Do you mix the components dry and then add water or wet. If dry what about saving a bit of the mix to try as filler afterwards?

Do you mix the components dry and then add water or wet. If dry what about saving a bit of the mix to try as filler afterwards?

I mixed it up wet then trowelled it into the mould (as the mixer stand has disintegrated).

Could really do with a proper concrete poker.

I've a second one to do do will have some "filler" available then. Hopefully the first will be on by then. It needs to be as I've only one mould! Got to jet wash the mould and reassemble it / re oil etc.

She’d sent an e mail in December to confirm it,but it went in my junk box ,so never saw it.theres the same length run the other side,plus 2 more stair balustrades.
I’ll leave the one stair Jobbie told her it’s too much trouble refitting that one,I’ll cut the railings off at 2” above ground,weld spigots inside the posts to help align ,strengthen ,then weld after galvanised,250kg in total,hmmm .
