A screw. The one on the left. Just need to order a M7x1.0 die to finish it off.

It's a longer shoulder version of the one on the right, so that I can use/try this.

It's a Starlock adapter, so one can use the older style blades, which are more readily available.
The slot is a hacksaw & file job.
Ended up ordering a cheap metric tap & die set off Ebay, which included the size die I wanted. Must say, it cut the thread better than I was expecting, & seems made to a good tolerance.
Standard blade fitted.
Only thing I have noted is that I'll need to use open end blades. The ones with an enclosed end have a smaller diameter centre hole than the Starlock screw diameter.
