Fill the posts with oil and denatured water ????
My pal ended up putting lots of tungsten rods in his posts along with denatured water & oil after someone plasma cut his security post off and stole his caravan .

it will be for a high security chain through the 'v' and around the suspension arms of whatever i have parked there. they will also be in full view of a camera with voice alerts and link to my phone. i will be making the security post at the front of the drive out of 2" box. i could fill it with concrete, but it would make it heavy and would be pointless because you would only have to cut through the padlock anyway.
its as Caravan Utilising Nomadic Traveller proof as i can make it, the best security by far is that the ecu for the car that will most need protection will be sat in my safe.

Took a random bit of old bed frame, probably pine, sanded off the varnish, chamfered the edges and fitted some cast iron coat hooks. Still need to oil the wood, mount it with hidden screws, then refit the hangers over the screw holes.
I'm really pleased with this, i love these cast iron hooks.

A quick test with the carbide burrs I aquired today from APT. https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/today-i-acquired.50192/post-2541911
They work very well, fast, easy to control and great finish if you climb cut.
Trying to think up something to carve out, rather than turn good aluminium to scraps, then I can also have some stuff to anodise.

The first attempt in the foreground I completely cut the wrong buts out
The second one at the back worked well and I tested my new sip weldmate 160a machine.
Think I have finally worked out the settings, just about!

That's brough back some golden memories Ardy .
My Aunt used to live across the river Witham from Coningsby ( home of the Battle of Britain's memorial flight ) at a little village called Chapel Hill .
One of the runways when flying south sent aircraft to the west of her bungalow . Many a time me & my children and my second wife have stood at the upstairs westerly facing window and waved to the crew of the Lanc as it flew a hundred feet or so away and up after taking off from Coningsby .
T'was an amazing experience , I doubt my kids will ever forget the deep engine roar & exhaust fumes they sensed as it flew by , nor the crew waving back at them .

Put the wall mount screws under the flanges of the hooks unless of course you are going to make domed wood pegs over them as a feature .
Not today but over the last month or so. Someone suggested I have a go at one of these. So I did, was a kin pain. Every thing moves when its in motion' 2 x12 volt leccy motors provide the energy, head reciprocates, gun spins, sucker thing (grip) moves back and forth and the eye (sight thingy) moves up Down. It diverts forward if it contacts an object simple castors on front. I made all the out side panels (A bit of drilling ensued) Cos the Meccano panels looked like a patchwork Quilt. The inside is all Meccano apart from the motors.

sorry I should have been a bit clearer. Anyway I'm annoyed now. I brought it back home thinking I had some osmo oil in a cupboard and I'd get it oiled tonight, but with the house move it seems to have been mislaid. So now it needs to go back again to workshop where I've got some random wood oil lying around.

And that's brought back some equally golden memories for me.
Due to Mum and Dad having a static caravan near Sutton on Sea and me being obsessed with fishing, from the mid 1970's up to the mid 1990's me and my big brother practically lived on the banks of the Witham. Anywhere between Boston and Lincoln, usually around Chapel Hiil, Southery, Stixwould, or Bardney, most weekends and week's holiday we'd be somewhere in the area. Often we'd fish at Wainfleet on the Relief Channel, or the "New Cut", as the locals called it, until we discovered the River Glen at Surfleet Seas End, near to it's confluence with the River Welland. Always loved South Lincolnshire and have many happy memories of the area.
And my big sister joined the RAF in 1977 and lived at Coningsby for a few years so like you I have many memories of there as well.
Got the "small parts" storage sorted today:
All my nuts, bolts, washers, wood screws, fuses, clips and pins and everything else of that nature is now separated according to type. Still have a few to label but the bulk of it's done and there's enough empty trays to allow for expansion:
