A custom bracket in PETG for one of the sliding gate magnets.

The original plastic ones that came with the kit were designed to slip over a 20mm wide rack. The rack itself was 22mm wide. Didn't realise until months (years?) later as I delayed fitting it.

New, chunky one in the middle. Two originals at the back. Earlier, thin print to the right of the magnet, it broke:

Did think the screen was a bit of a step backwards when I first got the P1S, but, to be honest, i've only used the notchy thing to reprint something I've just printed ...do everything else from the laptop.

I have a second resin tray for my printer and needed some way of storing it flat but not take up desk space.
The solution was to design simple brackets to sling it under the worktop.
They are 108mm x 60mm and the rear ones have a wall to prevent pushing the tray to far. This made them handed and yes I did remember to print them mirrored.

Wedding cake topper model of the house. Not the neatest given my cheapo printer but it is dimensionally accurate (well scaled obviously) as it was initially drawn up to work out rendering and painting areas.

Palming it off to someone else hopefully to paint.

A PCB holder designed using Tinkercad and printed on my rarely used Ender 3 printer. I did the 3d printing, my son did all the soldering on both boards. Something to keep him busy during the summer holidays!

Each to their own and I meant no offence. I was just thinking how 3D printing is now such a great tool for practical engineering stuff as some of these posts prove.

Can you yet ask an AI engine to produce you a model for printing I wonder?

I use quite a few 7ah batteries around here and at work as temporary supplies...
Designed this to give me half a chance of not setting fire to my van

Still a work in progress it's relying on hot glue at the moment so the sockets done push through

You can, there were some prototype builds people were playing with last year already for that sort of stuff. Full of bugs/issues though so it's a 50/50 gamble
