So I can put ThisOldTony (or whatever) on and make the treadmill time seem go a bit quicker. I used to use a bit of bent TIG filler wire, but I lost it and I figured that if I had a CAD design, it would be easy to make another one if I lose this one too (and it's got my name debossed on the back of of it, which might help too).

I'm going to reprint the arms to tilt it back a bit as it's pointing at my chest rather than my face, but it works for now.

SWMBO is after a McFlurry holder to go on the front of her treadmill here...

It is based around the Arduino Nano, feeding a Lin-bus transceiver and various other parts. It has Infra red output and a digipot output to suit both types of control methods.
I was going to use a separate processor, but it would have cost three times the price of just using the Nano.

I did wonder, I keep using Arduinos for stuff as by the time I've designed and built the accompanying components it's cheaper, quicker and easier to use an Arduino.

Made a couple of little bits for the printer:

The top one is a modified filament sensor cover with a cable tie hole; the bottom is a mount for an endoscope.

Still a bit of positional tweaking to do to make sure the nozzle is in focus, but it'll do for now.

Whats the endoscope for?

It lets me check in on what's going on remotely and actually see what's going on at the nozzle rather than just see the whole print.

Made a simple material stop today.
Don't need to tighten a lot to get good grip and it slides easily when loose.
10 mm rod to fit T-nut, other is 6mm

That’s tidy. One nut to clamp down on both rods, I like it.

Another nice thing with it is that it locks the large rod first then turn a bit more to lock the smaller. Totally unintentional though but a nice feature

My DeWalt charger decided to retire itself so now I made parts so I could get one of the Makita chargers take its place.
Could have pulled down the screw pockets a bit.

I might have gone slightly over the top with the number of screw holes given the weight these are holding! They mount to the underside of a shelf:

Storage for Forstner bits. I designed it to take all the commonly available sizes, so most of the holes are empty (and some have been filled with some seriously c**p quality Forstner bits), but at least I won't have to redesign it if/when I buy more bits.

I was being indecisive, so I designed it to have the choice between legs (just pushed into slots, so they're easy to remove) or I might make a plywood unit for it so they are effectively drawers: the pins that are sticking up at the back (also pushed into slots and hence removable) would act as a stop to keep the drawers from coming all the way out.
