Don't suppose anyone knows if a T2 holder is bigger than a T1 in an equal %?

Further thoughts: sit a holder that you already have on a sheet of paper, draw around it with a sharp pencil. Scan the drawing and convert to SVG. Extrude to 3mm thick, do a test print.
Oh yes please for the stl if I may??Tony has a lot of the dimensions of this style holder on http://www.lathes.co.uk/latheparts/page13.html
I have found an STL file for a T2 if you are interested

Just put the holder straight on the scanner and trace around the image...
Will that work well? Every time I have photocopied my meat and two veg at the office Christmas party with the lid open, the copier's scanning light and the daylight from the room conspire together to produce a poor image.
give me a bit and I'll find a link or post on thingyverseOh yes please for the stl if I may??
I would try tweaking the design so that can be printed on edge, and therefore no need for support.. Adjust the wall thickness so it's a multiple of extruded width.4 hours into a black PETG print for @Kram (chainsaw scabbard) and it warped and lifted off the bed. Maybe not enough 3DLac on the bed?
Starting again, 10% in as of now. I'll send the warped one so he can see the support structure inside that will need to be dug out.

6mm bridging will be no problem - my greatest concern would be it getting knocked off during bridging or if the end curls up under shrinkage. Certainly would need a brim.Quicker to print too. Just had a play with the supports turned off it'd have to bridge about 6mm unsupported.
