Seems like that's what I have the most of pink and purple. LolYellow is sunny, cheerful and bright. It also goes well with blue. No co-incidence then that our business colours are blue on yellow!
Should you want a colour you don't have, I'm sure I could find you some. I seem to have everything bar purple and pink.

I could have done with some pink for my 'phone stand. Olive drab isn't that pretty, although the filament was sold as "Antique Gold".

I tried that file but it looked like it was just a viewer that got installed.
So much python and conda wording there, better throw in a croc to clean it up

I inserted a pause at the start of the layer I wanted to be black and then a colour change instruction at the start of the next layer. When the printer paused, I got it going again straight away but sat and watched it for a minute or two. When it finished "drawing" all the outlines, I paused it again manually and then changed filament. It then filled in all the spaces between the outlines with black and then once it had finished it hit the colour change instruction so I could swap back to blue.
Does that make sense?

That's very kind of you, thanks. I mostly like the matt and not too saturated colours (because I'm boring), but there aren't very many available in PETG. I've got "Chalky Blue" and "Pistachio Green" from prusament and I've got "light purple" (which I like) and "peacock blue" (which I don't especially like) from hatchbox as well as some greys and white/black from cheaper brands. I've also got some of the more "vibrant" colours like green & orange so I've got a reasonable range. I think I'll get most use out of chalky blue, light purple and the various greyscales.Should you want a colour you don't have, I'm sure I could find you some. The orange I only have because it came with the printer: it's not a colour I like. I also have a sample length of "fiberlogy" orange ASA, just because it was chucked in with an order for some fiberlogy grey refill filament. On a positive note, the company I work for like to colour everything orange, so if I need to print something for work and can't be bothered with the hassle of going through the official route and getting it printed at work, I can use the orange PETG and it'll look perfect for the work environment!

Not my work .....thought you weirdo plastic engineer types might like it...my mate called around today with this......he's a whizz kid. Currently working on powering his series 2 Landrover with a Tesla battery....he printed a mock up motor

We need to know more about the project, if I ever get passed being incredibly tight fisted, possible worse than a Yorkshireman I'd convert my lwb series 3 Landover.

I have had a closer look after another test print came unstuck (deliberate adhesion test). The nozzle was covered in baked ASA filament and what I think is happening is to do with ASA / ABS only. As a print loses adhesion and warps, those areas are higher than the nozzle. When the nozzle meets those areas, the material is melted by the nozzle and sticks to it before being deposited back onto the print. At least I think so. It doesn't make sense that the print in question didn't warp yet was covered in rubbish though.

From the appearance and from how Joe Prusa's team helped me :-
Your layers seem thick & erratic .
Try lowering your nozzle several times in small written down steps so you get a much thinner layer that will spread before it cools & increase the nozzle temp by three degrees oC .
IIRC ......... My Nozzle was set to 650 as per the setting up self build guide & they suggested that I take it down another 600 in small stages doing one or two passes to see if it had cured things .. problem solve instantly after three adjustment on the Z axis .
I'm also guessing that a drop in the ambient air temp might cause the fish frame / carcass effect too , that's why I have a two 14 watt light bulb heated enclosed cabinet for my printer where the temp is a constant 27 oC once the sliding door is closed up .
This was the first print which has a likeness to the lines of deposit on your print
You can see how the layers improved after adjusting the nozle & gettibg a stble ambient temp around the printer .
This last picture the rubbish parts on the left hand side to the ideal best prints on the right ..
Enabling me to print off 130 plus of the brackets for my mist spraying irrigation set up's for the glasshouse , flower beds and bonsai benches .. there's a hole on the underside so I can push the brackets on to 6 mm x 500 or 300 mm long carbon fibre sticks / stakes made from a dead popup tent i got off freecycle .
