And a couple of test clutch alignment tool shafts
This was a test print for a customer so I printed the model they sent through. If it is just an alignment tool, does it strictly need all the splines? Would it not print faster and use less material if fewer were included? With fewer splines, less cleanup may be required.

On this printer, the layer build time is the same regardless of area
(Circa 12-15 seconds)
So it would have been no quicker.
As the Z height of the part determines build time.
The only clean up required on these is a wipe over with some fine sand paper where the supports were to remove the witness dots.
Is there a word for the anxiety which builds over the duration of a long 3d print?
Regarding the comment about 100% infill, has anyone seen anything along the lines of 'minimal infill and then fill the remainder with a settable compound afterwards'?
Yes, saw something recently on this - formers for embossing steel panels in a press.Regarding the comment about 100% infill, has anyone seen anything along the lines of 'minimal infill and then fill the remainder with a settable compound afterwards'?
What's it for again??My trusty Ender 3 made this today, well, today, yesterday and some of the day before...
Bearing block for the JD's Garage CNC Plasma table.
Printed in PETG, as flat as I could have hoped for and certainly the biggest thing I've ever printed by far - 100% infill as per instructions.

That does look pretty good - and I have pretty much all of the bits already, including the Lidl plasma....It's the Y axis bearing block for one of these:
Are all the CNC files available to complete the project? It's the Y axis bearing block for one of these:
Yes, they supply all drawings, STLs, a full BOM etc in metric and imperial and even DXFs so you can cut parts to make a 4th rotary axis once you've built the main machine. All for 20 USD.Are all the CNC files available to complete the project?
You are not wrong !Sounds like a spendy bit of gear?

(Spaghettiphobia is apparently a thing. Zymarikaphobia is the fear of pasta which sounds much more exotic!)
