Apart from a smash at the top of the Thank and be Restful, as my dear old Mum insisted on calling it, and a Tesco wagon on its side, (somewhere near Inveraray?), he had a clear run until he hit the A68 on his way back to Wolsingham early this morning. Due to his trailer being empty much slipping and sliding ensued with numerous applications of diff-lock and the I-Shift transmission in his Volvo locked into manual to get up the steep banks between the A69 and Tow Law.

I just let my dog out into the garden, midnight, I’m sure it’s warmer outside than in the house, even with the heating on.The temperature here is 14.8C and has been climbing for 24hrs!
