if it was me id of been inclined to have formed a flange round the half round pipe that was put in to allow for the spring, it looks like its weak at that point, the top plate with the solid bush above it will take the original weight but id think that if it got a shot for some reason the half round would give enough to tear something.It's a coilover adaption to meet class regs (not my work btw) that stipulate original suspension pickup points and geometry. You can't just turret the rear trailing arms unfortunately, hence the rather complicated workaround solution.
but that set up there has probably gone round the world a few times on a race track and worked flawlessly for all i know about them tbh.
