It's a coilover adaption to meet class regs (not my work btw) that stipulate original suspension pickup points and geometry. You can't just turret the rear trailing arms unfortunately, hence the rather complicated workaround solution.

if it was me id of been inclined to have formed a flange round the half round pipe that was put in to allow for the spring, it looks like its weak at that point, the top plate with the solid bush above it will take the original weight but id think that if it got a shot for some reason the half round would give enough to tear something.
but that set up there has probably gone round the world a few times on a race track and worked flawlessly for all i know about them tbh.

Not sure what some of the tools are so I will post some seperate pictures to get them identified, then I can price them and stick a for sale post up.

if its any help ill give you some idea.
from the top left,
you have what looks like 3-2 morse taper sleves, one with a mt for either a drill chuck or its a paralell one thats possibly been machined.
the thing that looks like a plum bob is a dead center.
to the right of them you have 2 x right hand carbide tipped boring bars.
then you have a parting off or grooving tool for a lathe that takes a hss tool.
two knurling tools beside it.
two boxes of carbide tips which probably fit the chamfering tool below them and/or the boring bars.
the white box above them looks like hss tooling for grinding to shape for a job.
beside them are some hss drill bits, it ill say what they are on the packet.
and then on the far right you have a quick change tool holder and what looks like a parting off tool in it, its hss.

bottom line on the left you have 3 hss tools for a lathe, the black one looking like its a right angled chamfering tool which i havnt seen before tbh.
the next three are the same only the top one is a carbide tipped chamferring tool.
the next three, the top one i cant say but the next one down looks like a small boring bar for a lathe and the one below that is again a hss tool.
and last but not least there is another quick change tool holder.

if you are planning on selling some of them and if what you wanted for them was what id spend id be interested in the two boring bars ( altho i would like to know the diameter of the shank on them and the lth ).
the dead center.
the carbide tipped chamfering tool in the bottom row.
the carbide tips if they fitted the tools there.
the box of hss tool steel above the tips.
and maybe the morse taper sleeves as well.

pm me a price on that lot if your interested.
weight it up and find out what it id cost to send it to fermanagh in northern ireland before you do so you know what that cost would be on top of what you would want.
if the price is right and youd like to sell we will have a deal, that is if you havnt sold it already.
take your time and see what you would want for them.

Thanks for identifying it all, I have a bit of research to do now I already have some interest via PM but we'll see what happens when it goes in the "for sale" section once I've priced it. Postage could be "interesting" due to the weight but at least a courier will have trouble breaking the stuff

dewalt impact driver and two bottle jacks , untested 110 impact driver and two non working bottle jacks for £30 , bottle jacks took 15 mins to fix and work great , plugged the dewalt in to my transformer and works like new , love it when things work out well ...lol

id take first dibs on anything in the list that im first to choose if youd do that but if you just want to list them and go from there thats ok, i understand.
postage to here isnt as bad as you might think, £20 will send a lot.

I got bored of crap stations on fm radio in my car so bought a PAMA PNG1220 Pama Plug N 820 Dab Radio. Now can listen to R6 music, bliss, no adverts and decent music.

Works very well, 10 mins to fit and has line out as well as fm link so can use my aux input.

Got given this today.

It may be fixable, not looked to deeply.
When powered up it does a self test and the 3rd drum does not rotate, it reports.
3rd wheel failure.

If it not a simple fix. it will be dismantled for spares or scrap.

Plus I am up £10 all ready.
Who would of guessed that fire alarm panel keys fitted those machines.

There was £10 in the coin box.

Well, the ducking mucking thing is 100% dead as the dodo.

CMOS battery has melted, the area round it is corroded and burnt.
Reel 3 works in other positions, not reel three. Cables are OK but looks like the Mother board again.

Oh yes Press both hold and the one collect buttons it pays out.

Ok, then dismantling time.

Went car booting this morning...

Bought a couple of bits...


Nice little transformer welder, checked all electrics and re crimped a couple of wires, burnt about a dozen rods then ran out of fuses.... I was running it quite high at £25 I thought it worth a punt, now I just gotta learn to stick weld .



A couple of Imperial micrometers £5 the pair, dunno if I will ever use them being brought up metric and stuff .



Nice little wood plane £3, light surface rust should clean up lovely. No visible damage, will strip it down and give it a thorough going over.

Thanks to the mouth-breathing clods at work, it's more stuff for me. To start with a 20 ltr container of Castrol Hysol X, a 5 ltr of Castrol Optileb CH 150, a 12.5 Kg tub of Fuchs Renolit grease, a 2.5 Kg tub of Trefolex cutting compound and finally 2 x 500 ml tins of Plus-Gas.
I almost had a Draper pillar drill but the maintenance bloke got in first, as it came out of his workshop I can't really complain. At new prices almost £400 for the stuff I got hold of today so I'm happy with thatShould keep me going for a while.

It's far bigger than I'd anticipated but it'll do, just means I need now is a bigger RBF.

its plate of some form, its not much harder than ms but it seems to be, ill look into it more later.
some of these days ill buy myself a set of hardness files to test things.
it was cut out of what ever it was anywas as there is the markings on the sides.
they had a 600T press and my guess is it was maybe a spacer at some time but not needed so turned into a table, its only a guess tho.

Real shame to use that as an anvil - welding table would make more sense?

tbh im not short of welding tables altho id really class a proper welding table to be the one with the holes in it but i dont have one of them.
i think it ill be used for anything that id need a big lump of steel for to do a job, which ill be weldin too id say.
its flat alright but long past the surface plate end of it, id say it was right n flat at some point, it id be level now you could say, i think anyways, ill throw a straight edge on it sometime.

Aldi space heaters appear to be reduced to £35 not £59 as per stickers. (this comes up on the till as the price when scanned)

I got one for £7.99 as it had another sticker on it and the girl at the cash till honored it..result!!
