The only way this country will compete is if they become more productive. Get rid of all the fat cats in upper management doing sweeet fanny Adams and make the workforce more productive .
Not only the fat cats ,look at all the companies that were ruined by strikes, the unions have a lot to answer for as well, British Leyland a prime example. The British motor cycle industry was at one time a world leader ,then the Japanese started building more reliable bikes ,that didn’t leak oil everywhere, in a lot of cases out performed British bikes and were cheaper . What did the British companies do? Buried their heads in the sand , a total lack of development and investment
