This finally turned up today, just need some time now to have a play with it and find out how to use it properly as it has 3 times as many functions and settings than my old mft1552!

Same as I've used for years except the + after 1741.
I've spotted an EV setting so must be something to do with car charging points.
I use mine very very hard on site in rain, mud, heat etc and the Meggers do seem to last well, I'm back to a 1500 series at the moment as the newer one got swapped after re calibration. I prefer the 1500 though as they seem just a bit more reliable.
Our 1741's went back to Megger as they had a habit of showing 0 volts on live circuits if doing checks on L1, L2, L3 one after the other!
ie L1 live L2 live L3 dead but it was live! Very naughty. They had a software update, yours is probably fine as it a later model but worth remembering!
Their tech guy was very interested to here my story when he found out what was going on.
