That looks very similar to the military's Bedford RL series that was prevalent when I was in the mob. Learned to drive and took my test in one. Dad used to do his crust when I was out in his car practising as I constantly stalled - considerable difference in the length of the clutch pedal strokes was the cause. I've never forgotten the quick method for replacing the front tracta joint seals on the 4WD versions.

It's good stuff, definitely more to it than caustic soda, I use it in my ultrasound tank.
I think so, it leaves your hands feeling slimy so it must be a bit caustic but it's probably only a problem if you submerge the parts in neat, boiling solution, I wouldn't have a problem using it.Is it ok with aluminium?
