I have about twenty now, all top kit, Knipex, Blue Point, Channel Lok. Every single time I need a pair, NONE of the ones I have will work. I now use (mostly) destructive methods to remove them.
They live just down the road from here, or their Kissin Cousins do anyhow.
Back on topic, I went to get a length of 6068 1" ally on Sunday, guess what? Larder was bare. Couldn't believe it, I had "just" bought three lengths (we have all been there I am sure) so a trip out to my new bestest friend. 6065 and a length of 7068 for a job. Also picked up a couple bits of stainless and a length of Titanium:
Thing is, this stuff never lasts. But I am ******** if I know where it goes!

I used to get scuff pads from either Screwfix or Toolstation. Can't remember which, offhand.

Got a garage air filter...plan is to keep the general level of dust down. Not bad price I think and with a bit of luck will be enough for a double garage. I think this one is sold under a few brands but went with record because of the guarantee and had good service from them in the past. Bought a few spare filters too of course....surprised how quiet it is...had to check it was on!

I saved Four of these today, they were on the way to the local tip or scrap yard. I dont know what they are but I am thinking I could make a couple of small metal casting boxes with them. They are about 6 inches square.
