they are only £21 inc vat for three pairs at costco at present bought some on monday and I agree they are a decent
glove and a good buy a £7 a pair .

I'd say there still a great buy at tenner shame theirs not a cosco near by though mines about ten minutes away but hadn't been in there for donkeys . the gloves were a bonus as I'd just lost one of me mechanix gloves out the side pocket of the van.

Are they online, just looked and couldn't see them. Saying that I'm not logged in and can't be bothered getting up to get my Costco card!

I still make ginger beer:
2l pop bottle, spoon-full of bread yeast. thumb of ginger (sliced) + a teacup of sugar. fill with pre-boiled water, but leave a couple of inches space, and squeeze the bottle until the water reaches the top, before putting the lid on. release the pressure, and re3squeeze every couple of days (if you don't you'll regret opening the bottle later!)

I've never used costco online so couldn't say , but if they are in store shouldn't see why not .

Pretty cloudy but there's cold crashing still to come, I suppose it'll clear in the keg too, assuming it doesn't get finished this weekend. :laughing:

Used to just cover a jam jar with a bit of muslin and an elastic band from memory. Then add the plant to more water, sugar and lots of lemons. It was over 40 years ago!

I had to stop brewing for a while because the wine consumption was getting a tad high :scared:

I was brewing a couple of 25l barrels a month - and pouring it straight from the tap :vsad:

Trays of plums from the market -£5 - plus 4 bags of sugar, a pint glass of raisins and a sachet of Wilkinson's wine yeast.

It was something similar to that was a recipe on Blue Peter. I got some lemonade bottles, got the ingredients and set to.
All went well for a few days, then all the bottles exploded. We were picking pieces of glass out of the kitchen walls and woodwork for days. My Ma had only just left the kitchen when it happened.
I can't help feeling I missed a step when copying the recipe down off the telly.

Here is one in action. Instead of multiple passes, you do it in one go, machining from the face in, not the outer edge.

A quicker way to rough in barrel tennons, and less heat build up with a single pass.
