I'm guessing either B16 or MT2, its a 16mm chuck on it at least, might even be a 20, its a lot bigger than a 13mm thats for sure.
Bloke reckoned it was heavy...nahhhhh, some weight to it...but nothing exceptional, walked down the street with it and it was only as I got to the car that I started to notice the weight lol

MT2 but don't quote me on that! I don't have any drifts so used a bit of 2 x 2 end on with a hammer to remove it. Sharp tap was all needed.

It's not so much the weight as the ungodly heavy motor unbalancing it!

Rescued from the bin of a well known DIY store last night, they are not customer returns, just looks like they were used for one job in the store, sprayed blue and chucked in the bin, mind boggling ?

Not happy about there being no battery for the Worx drill, terrible customer service , i may have to put a complaint in.

The ham handed clods at work have been at it again, also to my benefit. This weeks scrounge from the scrap area is a 25ltr drum of Gunk Engine Degreaser, around £80-£95 to buy, with a big dent in the drum, nowt. Makes up for the crap pay sometimes.

Rescued from bin at work, chap who threw it in there said it all works and was recently PAT tested. No longer needed.

Fitted with three 16 amp C type breakers. I have lots of SY cable in some thick cable flavours to make a very handy extension lead to plug the mig and plasma cutter into. Will only ever use one at a time.

May even fix it to a welding cart when I get round to making one

This was custom made for a one off project which we don't do any more, therefore it was no longer needed and binned.

Ive got my eye an old but good, phase contrast stereo microscope a couple of hefty 110v fans and a realy nice perspex cabinet

I don't have 3 Phase but have plenty of 6mm2 SY cable and my home workshop is wired up with a meaty power supply and fitted with Two blue sockets.

So I thought I would make a heavy duty trailing lead but ..........

From the photo it looks like you have fitted a socket rather than a plug? Or is there a crazy reason?

Yep, you've got it. Should be a plug on the cable end

Before I reconfigured it, each of the phases was supplying a single socket with a common black across all three. But not any more

Yeah each of the three phases is 240. That is why it requires rewire to 32 amp single phase plug.
