No missing bolts just a bit of fluff that looks like a hole from a distance.That's a hefty lump . Is there a bolt missing from where the pedestal meets the base?

Aye, I have that, used to be brilliant, now its slimy and doesn't work nearly as well.There used to be an excellent hand cleaner by Sabesto which was rebranded by Wirth; then it changed from being orange-based to white pumice-type stuff (but still excellent), now they've apparently reworked it to remove the 'bits' to help the water pollution, and I hear it's nothing like as good as either of the previous formulae... so I've gone over to Swarfega. Which also used to be fantastic but is now merely good, so either they changed it or muck is getting muckier
