Mine's a Fluke because I'm a tool tart, but that's all I bought it for.
Turns out it actually gets used all the time, even used it find draughts in my house last year. It mainly lives in the kitchen as a sanity check, especially when I'm deep frying stuff.
If any one wants another, I'll discount it to 70 uid, and chuck in a mini-clamp-on post vice thingie . . .Got one of those too, from a boot sale for a £ pound; cute little thing. Seen them advertised on the bay of evil for as much as £75.oo

I acquired the same type mini post vice at the time when I bought the little anvil vice.

Today I got an oil drum - a 60L baby drum and mounted my oil pump in it. Total cost of project - $15! It does work but I don’t need to use it. It just makes the workshop look more like a workshop!
Tell you when my mate wires it in.

Oh lovely! I’ve always fancied an Oxford Allen Power Scythe! There’s a whole load of post-war horticultural and garden equipment that’s great fun to play with, but only has a niche following

These are monro tillers, good heavy lumps with villiers mk12s on them. Would like a ransomes at some point. We did have an Allen mower years ago, think we gave it away!
Had a big Howard rotavator too, and a land master, which was a killing machine

A little haul I acquired at the local car boot sunday .
A couple of new 12.5 drill bits a few mostly inperial spanner mainly gedore and elora a set of moore and wright imperial feeler gauges still in wax paper and a few other lumps of steel including an unusual star ended chisel all for less than £7.

Just acquired a spare cylinder head to have a go at porting. Probably won't get round to doing the work till winter, but it was cheap so thought I may as well get it ready for when I have the time.
