We thought that until the local farmer decided to redirect his field drainage that resulted in a ditch overflow and 4 houses flooded. Luckily the local council stumped up enough money to install a 1/2 mtr underground system which ,so far , has cured the problem.No, we just be hill folk, smart enough to live above a flood plane.
