Well it's been sat there so long the crank has sagged...

A few, but it can also be used to balance the flail rotors which will take the guess work out of the repairs

More the smaller flails Dan, you only need to bash them on some concrete hidden in brambles and it bends the rotors, straightening them and getting them back in balance is a ballache, if I can get that machine up and running it will make my life a bit easier.

That’s the top slide for the Hardinge turret lathe sorted. Quite bizarre that it was 50% cheaper to get it from the States even including carriage and taxes. , than get one locally

A chuck. It is massive!
It has quite a few dings, no play in the jaws. There are chuck marks on the OD so this has been in something much bigger!
6 metric dies and 3 ripper endmills.

Just waiting on longer bolts and it’s good to go. Still looking for tooling, but I will find it.

I toyed with buying one similar a year or two ago, the electronics were shot. But it was another project....

A bit of proper old school English engineering. A 10cc glow engine made by Meteor Engineering in Birmingham some time in the 70's. There is very little information about Meteor engines but from what I have been able to gather it was a bit of a shed industry, sand or die cast aluminum and manually machined parts. Found a review in a photocopied piece in sceptre magazine (http://sceptreflight.com/Model Engine Tests/Meteor 60.html )

I was in the process of gathering bits to build one when this one came up for cheap, its all there but needs going through. I had already bought the electronics from Technolab so if the analogue gear on this one cant be resurrected I will retro fit the digital gear I already have.
