1960s unopened tinned rations issued to my Dad at some point
The tin opener in these rations was inside a tin can along with the loo roll and other things.
As a small boy I learnt some good words when my Dad returned from an exercise.
Some Norbert had opened the tin with the loo roll and tin opener in with a bayonet and reduced the loo roll to confetti.

Another ebay bargain: pair of electric heated RX8 seats with rails for a Defender, just need to clean them up and treat the leather and sort out the wiring harness. On ebay with a 2:30 am end time and seller would not post, though he agreed to package them for me to get a courier to collect, so a nice seat upgrade for the Defender for £100 plus £60 postage.

please don't tell us you passed that ' naturally' Mine was the size of a grain of sand and the pain was incredible . The doc said the pain was caused by the muscles around the P tube sensing the foreign body and gripping it .

A small momentary foot pedal pedal... thought I'd give it a go for TIG welding on the Lorch rather than using the switch on the torch itself as I quite often waver when using my thumb or finger. @Munkul Thanks again for the Tuchel plug; this is what I wanted it for.
I'm hovering over the 'buy' button on a CK TL26 (Trim Line; 26 current rating but 17 size) TIG torch but I know I should really investigate making a torch cooler...

Get confirmation of the size before you commit, I was thinking about one of them and although smaller than a 26, they were a fair bit bigger than a 17

According to CK literature they are identical in size, aside from the flexible 17 being a touch longer?
However, I would hazard a guess that the cable might be slightly heavier duty on the Trim-Line as it is a 200A torch - not that I need that.

Yep all natural, retrieved from the pan and washed when I heard/saw the ping/plop! dont worry its a 5p piece for scale not a 10p

Im might be a bit slow sometimes but can someone edumacate me on "baby's heads" please?
They stop babies necks from fraying.
It's the diameter of the handle that's bigger, it has to take a 26 sized power cable.

Apologies.
Baby's heads was a slang term given to a steak and kidney pudding within the military. I believe it started in the RN but quickly spread to all three services. They were actually very tasty!

Fixed that for you.
In the new RAT packs, they are boil in the tin. They go well with biscuit brown and source red.
I initially thought the same as you, welding supplies direct seems to be the only place that describes it as a 17 sized torch but CK call it a reduced size 26
