today I acquired a foot pedal for the transtig

genuine esab FC-5C came with a parts list and wiring diagram ,for less than an SSC although they might have made it.

so just really hope it's the same as the murex FC-5B theres no wiring diag in the murex manual.
and a sparky mate gave me his old fiuke MM.

exactly what I thought , although iv'e never seen an SSC in the flesh it's canny wide. not quite the price of an SSC though and well less than half the esab price I really need to butcher up a trolley and get this transtig fired up.

Few mods to suit my needs, neighbour said the mudguards ruined it, I told him the great thing about it being my bike is that I can do what I want to it.

Plan to get fit once my hernia op is done, I will keep riding my home built bike when i'm out with the family but I won't be able to do any serious miles on that

I like fenders too. A chain guard an kick stand are nice also, and I recall that all bikes in my youth came with them as standard equipment.
