Suizan Dozuki saw arrived yesterday, got a chance to use it this morning - and show my woodworking class the differences between Western and Japanese saws and planes. I'm very impressed with it!

Bought it after seeing this video on YouTube; a guy I've been following for several years. Have always wanted to try a few Japanese tools.

They'd normally be my default (have been for years with the woodturning I do) and I had a look but between them and Rutlands they didn't have what I wanted; the saw I bought was from Amazon and was the one that the chap mentions in his video - was out of stock on Amazon US but in stock in the UK. Besides, it is my Christmas present from my sister... she bought herself some shoes as my present to her; she's five hundred miles away so easier all round.

Good luck with being able to buy enough paracetamol or ibuprofen to do anything more than make yourself sick; they can only sell you two wee boxes of either.

After paracetamol was put in blister packs, the number of deaths from paracetamol poisoning fell by 21%.

You still only need 25 to be fatal, but it takes two or three days. A long time to reconsider.

I believe there's no much going back if you do reconsider - all you can do is watch your doctors discuss your organ failures.

Seem to recall the last place of work had most of a tub of 200 in the paper cupboard for employee pain killing . . .
