Probably not, even at £2.50 a round I don't shoot enough to bother wasting the time. Can't shoot that many rounds quickly anyway because it's such a hot round unless you have a very heavy barrel (counter productive for Highland stalking) it gets warm very very quickly (as in a couple of rounds). Mod is very warm after a single shot.

It's more the fact that up in the Highlands with boar it's likely to be fairly long distance and little compares to the 300WM at throwing lots of kinetic energy down range.

Carvers are always hard to come by at sensible money.

I was doing a job in the metrology lab and there were a couple of Carver clamps by the door, I asked the guy what was happening to them, he said he preferred G clamps for holding jobs to the measuring table so the Carvers were bound for the scrap skip. As the scrap skip was at the back of our workshop I offered to take them for him, they never made it to the skip

Picked up what I now know is a 'drum throne' at the recycle for £10.
Planning on using it as a garage scoot on wheels to save my knees!
Surprisingly cheap to buy new if anyone else fancies making one. Check out the price of a Stealey one!

I discounted using one my son in law has given me for bits to play with , as my life changing spinal injuries were occasioned when an office chair meant to hold a 200 kg person collapsed under me at 92 kg .

I've managed to get an old quality leather covered lab scoot stool instead and replaced the main gas strut with one off eBay for about £11 . The stool came off Free cycle .

No plans for it yet, I got it off a guy who does ground work for utility companies. I welded up some parts for a roadbike engined quad he's building and he gave me that as a tip.

It’s proper use is for constructing “pole terms” where overhead power cables are transitioned on a terminal pole to underground cables

Now onto the neighbour to put the staircase together (typically oversized with 6m stringers from 12x2 cut by the local woodyard).

Then he can start repairing a few slightly rotten bits of the roof before we insulate it all and start plastering / rendering.

That's a big step forward from when I saw it with a few beans and sheets of covering ...... congratulations . It must have been a bit warm up there this last two months .
