Got some 2-sided hacksaw blades in a box of stuff from the car boot. Anyone know if they have some special purpose or are they just a selling gimmick?

Nowt to do with welding but a USB stick lamp.

I got it for putting under the carriage of my plasma table to get a light source on the end of the torch to get an accurate XY zero if I need to.

Found loads of other uses for it so bought a couple more. They’re £2. Taped one into a USB extension as a auxiliary boroscope light source

Took me ages.

I was after 12v ones but these are better as if anything goes wrong it’s only 5v rather than 12 or 240 which is what else I found.

After a week of hotels, many miles and some goos customers. This what I aquired this week.

Part One.

A Oil can and a wire brush.

The painfull end of a 50 Call.

That money again, two decks of cards and a Old style razor.

A old and odd tin.

A old vice.

A bit of rust.

More money.

A set of number punches. I have not seen them yet, as the box is still sealed after all these years.

A old style foot measure, to work out what size shoes you need.

All skip finds.

This lot was in a skip in a loading bay of a shopping centre, I am guessing it was pulled from a second hand shop that had closed. I never went it after the first time.
They had items that were over priced, rude staff and not much else.

Both still have the wax sealing intact on them. They rattle so I am guessing they are full.

In good order.

Just need to find a box now.

This was the item I was realy after, the rest was just in the way.

Dunno if it's Griffin, or Griffin & George, I remember. Their balances were ubiquitous in our school when I was growing up, and I'm sure they supplied loads of the chemistry department's reagents (reagent! ).
