Got this Sip 16mm 12 speed bench drill.
The guy I bought it from said he used it once on a gate building project and it’s sat ever since, apart from some light rust on the pillar which I got off with fine sandpaper it seems very good. He had no idea that the drill speed could be changed so maybe he wasn’t one for reading the instruction manual.
And I forgot to ask him for the Chuck key!

Did a little welding job for my brother yesterday and was having issues with burn back into the nozzle accompanied by some vibrations in the torch.

Turns out the liner was to blame. Seeing as the 3m MB25 torch on the MIG always seemed a little short I got a 4m replacement from a local welding supplies

Edit to add that I won’t be acquiring any Gorilla Bars in my next order. Zoro cancelled due lack of stock. You snooze etc…

I got an email saying they cancelled mine as they were out of stock, then sent a second emailing saying they had screwed up the price!

I ended up using a pair of mole grips to open them.

Now decanted into better containers.

Today’s arrivals,the spring on the mig wire box is a replacement for the one that retains the nozzle.
Noticed the last few wire reels are Geka make,Turkish,perhaps they’ve taken over INE?

My Dad's old case from when he was a gas technician at British Gas up the Old Kent Road. Really well made, reinforced corners etc, hinges decent. Given it a clean with some bleach & Fairy in hot water.

Quite what I'm going to use I don't know: Offered it to my lad but he turned it down.
