No a proper cleaned disinfected & sterilized wound coated with Savelon and a large breathable surgical wound dressing , some 2x 2 inch on the pad .Good old tissue and masking tape repair?
Use blue scotch tape it holds the blood in better
Then encased in two sleeves of tubular bandage & fixed in place at the bottom with some micropore tape .
I obviously did the right thing and did it in the best time slot for such sliced cuts . This morning the cut appears to have knitted closed up from the inside out .
T'will be another week before I know if I've got away with it or if it will open and curl out on the thin edge .
I'm a little bit miffed as it's put all my proposed gardening on hold due to me having heavily manured my veg & flower beds for the last 17 yrs with oodles of different animal dungs turned into a composted manure . I have very bacterially alive soil . Even wearing a glove over the wound is not the safest thing as I'm immuno compromised due to prescribed meds.

That reminds me, I must get out and kill everything around me.
I still have a gallon of Round-up clone (farm strength) but splashed out on some ammonium sulphonate the other week freom Mistral Chems in NI, who don't have any problems posting it south of the border. Trying to get various chemicals from teh UK now is a pain in the arristweed.
